College Builds Opportunities and Cuts Costs with Unified Communications
In this project, I architected, designed, and built a fault-tolerant Microsoft Unified Communications solution for Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario.
Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, wanted to enhance its online and distance-learning programs to reach more students in the local community and remote areas. In addition, Cambrian wanted to add more phone lines so that every employee and classroom had a dedicated extension. Instead of expanding its current systems, the college decided to implement voice over IP (VoIP) telephony, unified messaging, and Web conferencing. Rather than use components from multiple vendors, Cambrian College chose to go with Microsoft and built a unified communications solution based on Microsoft® Office Communications Server 2007 and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. As a result of its new solution, the college saves money, increases communication, enhances safety, and provides greater access to lectures over the Internet. Soon it will be able to support IT services for other institutions. More >>

Web Site Design - The University of New South Wales
For UNSW, I built a flexible navigation system into an existing content management solution, and translated a user interface design into a dynamic web experience.
The University of New South Wales (UNSW)–School of Medicine needed to give their web site a fresh new look and feel. In doing so, they also wanted to replace the home grown content management system they were using for their current sites. The new solution needed to be able to support their new design as well as minimize the amount of work in migrating and integrating their existing content. They wished to use the new web site as a template to update additional sites and deliver services via the web.  More >>

Cadillac Fairview
I built an Administration Module that takes into consideration live configuration values, enabling the Administrator to make content and appearance changes and see the results immediately.
Cadillac Fairview is one of North America's largest investors, owners and managers of commercial real estate. Cadillac Fairview focuses on high quality retail centres and office properties in Canada and the United States and also oversees equity investments in real estate companies and international investment funds. Cadillac Fairview wanted to replace a large paper-based leasing binder, the "bible" of their business, and move it online. The binder contained critical information about all their Canadian properties for leasing managers and agents, including square footage, floor maps, leasing manager, location, demographics and any additional information relevant to the property.  An online, real-time version of the leasing binder could be updated nightly and accessed via the web. This would provide their agents with access to updated property information at any given moment.  More >>
